Today, Central Park Zoo debuted the two snow leopard cubs. Born during the summer, the brother-sister tandem were the first snow leopard cubs currently weigh about 30 pounds and were the first snow leopards born at the zoo. By the time they reach adulthood, they could grow to be anywhere from 65 to 120 pounds. The zoo should further cash in on their public premiere by starting a naming contest for the yet-to-be-named siblings.

Zoo officials told the New York Post that the snow leopards are among the most endangered species in the world, with only 3,500 and 6,500 remaining in the world. Plan your lunch trips accordingly this week.
