The NYPD reports that an 18-year-old woman has been seriously injured after falling out of a cab window on the Lower East Side yesterday morning. Authorities also believe that alcohol played a factor in the incident. According to Gothamist, authorities speculate that she might have been trying to hail a cab when she climbed through one of the vehicle's windows. When the driver attempted to drive away, she fell onto the street.
The woman was taken to Bellevue Hospital where she's in critical condition. Meanwhile, police are searching for the cab driver.
