What would happen if the villains of DC won? That’s the question the company is set to answer throughout September as it launches “Villains Month.” For 30 days, all 52 books at the company will kick the superheroes to the curb and focus on the most infamous villains in the DC Universe. The centerpiece of this storyline is a brand new crossover event, titled Forever Evil. This seven-issue epic places Lex Luthor, Sinestro, Black Manta, and a group of classic foes against a twisted version of the Justice League, known as the Crime Syndicate, that is trying to take over the Earth.

To kick “Villains Month” off in style, DC is putting out 3D cover variants for all 52 of its books. The company recently gave us an exclusive look at the 3D covers for Superman #23.2, which will star Brainiac in place of the Man of Steel, and Aquaman #23.1, starring Black Manta. Take a look at the stunning 3D covers in the slideshow above.
