Authorities in Marion County, Fla. say a man ran over a girl 14-year-old girl with his SUV several times after she refused to have sex with him. Adrian Mendez was arrested Monday after the girl was discovered on the side of the road Sunday evening with what Click Orlando called "life-threatening" injuries, though she's in stable condition now. Mendez also allegedly choked the girl before tossing her from his vehicle.
The girl told authorities that Mendez offered her $200 for sex, but when she refused, he pulled her into his vehicle by the hair and choked her until she lost conciousness. Witnesses reported seeing Mendez drive back and forth over the victim "multiple times."
Mendez was charged with false imprisonment, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and attempted murder.
