What's better than a dinner date in Brooklyn, you ask? A dinner date on 120-foot yacht in Brooklyn. That's what Amberjack V(2100 Emmons Ave. Pier 10) is—a floating restaurant in Sheepshead Bay. It's very self-aware (there's a huge, glowing sign that says "Boat Restaurant), and has both indoor and outdoor seating.

In terms of food, the menu is mostly surf and turf and with a heavy Turkish and Russian influence. The Amberjack V usually remains docked, though it can sail for certain events and is certified by the U.S. Coast Guard. The Amberjack V also has a place in history: On Sep. 11, 2001, it "participated in the largest sea evacuation in history, transporting people from Manhattan to other boroughs."

The Amberjack V is open from 11 a.m. to 11:45 p.m., Monday to Sunday.
