Whatever the motivation, Microsoft is giving away free Xbox Ones this weekend during the San Diego Comic-Con.
While some are still skeptical about the console, price and privacy being the two of the thornier issues darkening the console's presence, free is free.
If you're attending the event in San Diego, bring your badge to the Manchester Room in the Grand Hyatt Hotel, this is Xbox One HQ. One winner will be chosen each day at random and you'll be able to enter once per day.
The Xbox One lounge will also be demo-ing Killer Instinct, and Dead Rising 3 if you wanna get your hands on those without dropping half a G on the new system.
