We knew behind those bright eyes there lied a darkness deep down. According to The Wrap, Harry Potter star Ron Weasley, known to us muggles as Rupert Grint, is set to make his stage debut on London's West End in a revival of the classic Jez Butterworth play Mojo. As for his role, he'll be playing a drug-addicted gangster, which is obviously the most fitting role ever for him. No one who owns their own ice cream truck is innocent!

Mojo, if you're not familiar, follows the story of a popular nightclub in Soho, London, in 1958, and the "unsavory characters" that frequent it. Ron Weasley is one of these unsavory characters, we assume. It first debuted in 1995 to great reviews, and a feature film followed in 1997.

Anyway, Grint will star alongside other British actors, Ben Whishaw of BBC's The Hour, and Brendan Coyle of Downton Abbey. The play is expected to begin previews at the Harold Pinter Theatre on October 26th, 2013.
