For old-school Pokemon players, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y show just how far the series has come. Aside from the 3DS’ new (actual) 3D gameplay, there may not be even a single recognizable Pokemon in Nintendo’s latest trailer, aside from the legendary Pokemon Xerneas.
The game still looks pretty good though, and we can only imagine it’ll look that much better with the 3DS’ 3D tuner turned all the way up. “Gotta catch ‘em all” is certainly a more significant commitment than it used to be.
