Reality television is about to gain a star. According to Uproxx, the man who became an Internet meme last month when he was filmed by a news crew outside of a Nashville courthouse after a child support hearing for one of his 22 children, is getting a reality show. And since this is America, land of the free and where more people will watch an episode of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo over a presidential debate.

To his credit, Shaw is entertaining in that "this guy is so ridiculous, I need to send this video to everyone I've ever met right now" sort of way. During his first interview with Nashville's NewsChannel, Shaw explains that he's fathered 22 kids from 14 different women, because, "I was just young and ambitious and loving women. Hey! You can’t knock no man for loving women." Wise words, Shaw, no we cannot. But we can knock him for not using a condom, because my god, you'd think someone would figure it out after child, like, #18. He also, won't get a vasectomy, because he is a "war horse."

Suffice to say, the interview went viral, and the 33-year-old Shaw was soon offered his own reality show, which he says he's signed a deal for. He owns thousands in back child support, so at the very least, he'll be able to pay off hs debt with this opportunity if it pans out.

You can check out a new interview with Shaw where he explains the reality show deal above. Be sure to watch up to the 3:45 mark, where Shaw explains that his 16-year-old daughter is expecting, but he wishes she wasn't because "I have babies for her, if she wanted a baby, Daddy had plenty!"

THIS MAN WILL SOON BE ON TELEVISION.
