Daily Show host Jon Stewart has been on a 12-week hiatus to direct the upcoming political drama, Rosewater, so in his stead, the English political comedian, and Daily Show regular, John Oliver has taken over hosting duties for the time being. Overall, things have been going pretty smoothly for Oliver, ably filling the role of the nearly-irreplaceable Stewart, and blending his trademark English wit with the Daily Show's hilarious satirical edge. However, this past week, before Oliver was set to interview the Newsroom's Aaron Sorkin, the power completely shut down over at Comedy Central, forcing his team to shoot the conversation on two handheld cameras in a dimly lit studio. The result was a little awkward, but also mostly funny, and thankfully, still an interview worth checking out. Watch it on the Daily Show's website.
