If you needed any more proof that Bryan Cranston was capable of playing a wide range of characters, this is undoubtedly it: Before he was Walter White on Breaking Bad or Hal on Malcolm in the Middle, Cranston was building up his resume by doing voice work as various baddies on Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers in the early '90s. So that's where he gets his inpiration for Walt!

Cranston brought up the roles—he voiced both Twinman and Snizard to be specific—in a recent Reddit AMA he did to promote the upcoming season of Breaking Bad. He explained: "I did voice work for the Power Rangers years and years ago. Someone once told me they named the blue Power Ranger after me, his last name was Cranston. I found out years later that was true." And it is! Billy Cranston, colloquially known as the Blue Ranger, was portrayed by David Yost in the series.

You can check out a clip of one of Cranston's epic voice works above. By the way, the entire AMA is worth a read, because Cranston actually does reveal some stuff about Breaking Bad--"my feeling is that Walt broke bad in the very first episode"-- and he says hilarious things like, "Happy birthday. Walt says today you be the danger," and "Thanks for pointing out our age difference...you little shit."
