Chill with the "Bible-thumper" jokes, but a North Carolina woman was arrested for attacking another woman with a Bible last weekend. Evelyn Mills Moore of Kings Mountain allegedly unloaded a barrage of punches on her victim before hitting her with the Bible, leaving marks on her head, face and arms. Perhaps possessed by the Holy Ghost, she also punched a man, severely injuring him.
Moore, 57, was charged with assault and burglary. She'll have plenty of time to repent while in custody. Hopefully, the law doesn't throw the book at her, though she may deserve that.
