NBC Has Canceled "Deception"

Sorry, guys.

None

Bad news for Deception fans - according to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC has opted to cancel the Meagan Good-starring soap opera, after ratings fell from a promising 2.0 for the series premiere in the advertiser coveted 18-49 demo to a fairly sad 1.2 in the latest episode. Yikes. With numbers like those, you'd think Jack Donaghy really was running NBC.

For the record, the now dearly-departed show was about some murder of a wealthy socialite that a hot detective (Good) was investigating. We assume lots of deception was involved - probably. Who knows. Clearly not many do, since ratings were so low. Zing!

Sort of sad, mostly just because we'll miss knowing we have the opportunity to see Meagan Good on our TV screens every week. Having the option was nice, y'know?
