An elderly woman rolling in a wheelchair was stopped by Customs and Border Protection agents at JFK International Airport who discovered she was trying to smuggle cocaine and heroin into the country from the Dominican RepublicDaliza Garcia must've been painfully obvious, because authorities stopped her as soon as she got off the plane.

According to a complaint filed in Brooklyn Federal Court, Customs agents said the 58-year-old Garcia looked nervous and that her wheelchair appeared "freshly painted." She was taken to a private room where inspectors noted that her wheelchair also seemed uncharacteristically heavy.

That's because it was packed with cocaine and heroin. The Boston resident admitted that she agreed to smuggle the drugs in from the Dominican Republic in exchange for $12,000.
