This surely beats sticking your hand through a vending machine opening.

French YouTube user ioduremetallique built a pint-sized robot with an arm able to reach inside a vending machine, grasp a can of soda, pick it up, and release it down into your grubby little hands. In his video, he shows his robotic creation being operated by a remote that looks almost exactly like a video game controller, which makes the whole thing seem even more fun. The video is in French, so don't expect to pick up any tips about building one of these things if you didn't pay attention in French class.

Skip ahead to the 1:15 mark to see the theft in action. Hey, if you don't have any change in your pockets, you're going to need some way to improvise, right?
