Yesterday, an EMT worker was arrested for pushing an NYPD transit cop out of an ambulance in Brooklyn. The New York Post says that Andrew Haley got into fight with the officer while trying to help a 59-year-old woman. Haley asked the officer multiple times to close the ambulance door while he tried to give the woman an electrocardiogram. He pushed the officer when he refused to comply.

A vicious verbal exchange quickly escalated, but ended with Haley in handcuffs. He was taken to a local precinct, but the charges against him were dropped. Good to know that the woman's safety remained a priority the entire time.
