The NYPD needs your help. They're searching for an elderly man who allegedly stole gold chains from a Midtown jewelry store by shoving them down his pants and fleeing. Around 11:20 a.m. on Dec. 15, 2011, the man walked into Italian Elegant Jewelry and asked to see some "heavy gold chains." The saleswoman laid them out for him, but as soon as she turned her back, he reportedly shoved them into his pants and left.

According to police, the suspect is a white male between the ages of 60 and 70 years old with "short, salt and pepper hair." If you're a normal person, you're probably wondering why the hell the NYPD is just making a crime that happened over a year ago public. Who knows how many chains he's snatched and probably sold since then?
