To announce its new Envisioning Center in Richmond, Microsoft recently released a video depicting its Utopian-vision of the future. And boy is it stunning. Microsoft makes a bold prediction, too: The company believes that most of this technology will be available in five to ten years.
The video also highlights a future only dreamed about: One where people use wall-sized touch screens to do just about everything. It's a perfect blend of the digital and the physical world, and all through the use of the latest Microsoft products.
The overarching theme of the video? Essentially your house will become a smart house. “It’s all part of advancing the trends we think have the greatest potential," said Microsoft editor Steve Clayton.
