Someone has to lose their job over this, right? A Danish news report has accidentally used an image from Assassin's Creed for a story about the ongoing conflict in Syria.

The head of the Danish news channel, Jacob Nybroe, has confirmed that the image was mistakenly found online and used for the story. The Times of Israel broke the story, and even we have to admit that, yes, it certainly does look an awful lot like the Damascus skyline.

“This is a reminder to us all of the importance of verifying the sources of pictures,” Nybroe said.

Yes, yes it is. Take a look and decide for yourself. Let us know what you think.
