The Wii U has yet to really catch on the way the Wii did, with a number of factors to blame. Call it what you like, but it's just not the same, and the numbers reflect that: the original Wii is still outselling the Wii U, with 3.53 million compared to the Wii U's 3.06 million sold.

On the other hand, that's not a huge margin, and is it any wonder lightning hasn't struck twice? It never does, after all. We love our Wii U, and with all the exciting gaming just announced for it—new 3D Mario and Mario Kart games, a new Zelda game and an HD Wind Waker remake, the Wii U's Virtual Console, and a new Yoshi game—things could soon get better for the new console.

And besides, Nintendo's in the black! So what is everyone worrying about?
