There is no doubting the early success of Marvel NOW. Between titles like Thor: God of Thunder, The Avengers, The Indestructible Hulk, and plenty of others, the House of Ideas has reinvigorated its entire comic book lineup with some of the best superhero stories on the market. But the company isn’t done unleashing high-profile books just yet, because this February writer Jeph Loeb and artist Ed McGuinness will debut Nova #1 on the comic book world.

Nova was a hero from the ‘70s and ‘80s that always had a cult following, but with the character’s recent appearances in titles like Annihilation and Avengers vs. X-Men, he’s ready to be re-introduced into the mainstream. Now, courtesy of Marvel, we have an unlettered look at some of McGuinness’ stunning art for the debut issue of the series, as well as a brief synopsis, which you can check out below. And be sure to pick up Nova #1 when it hits stands on February 20.
