Starbucks launched its Starbucks Evenings experiment in Seattle in 2010, and it's expanded to select locations in Atlanta, as well as Rancho Santa Margarita and Calbasas in California. By the end of 2013, the program will debut in Huntington Beach, CA.

Starbucks isn't promoting the campaign too actively, especially not in Orange County. There's little to no signage, and Orange County Register writer Nancy Luna says "the uninformed visitor would never know the cafe is selling alcohol." 

The featured beer includes IPA from Ballast Point Brewing Company, Firestone DBA, Pacifico, and Blue Moon, and is served to customers in a glass. Wine can be purchased by the glass and by the bottle. As for the small plates, in Orange County they include truffle mac and cheese and two flatbread optionscalabrese salami, tomato, and mozzarella or marinated artichoke hearts and goat cheese.

Atlanta locations feature bacon-wrapped dates with balsamic glaze and chocolate fondue.
