Police have arrested a Queens man who allegedly raped and sodomized a student in her Manhattan apartment. According to the Post, 33-year-old Juan Martinez allegedly told the victim "We're going to have sex the easy way or the hard way" before assaulting her.
This occurred back on Sep. 28 when the 29-year-old woman was returning to her apartment after a night out. When she arrived, Martinez was waiting in the shadows. He reportedly forced her into her apartment, pinned her on the ground then sodomized and raped her.
Authorities say this is Martinez's first arrest, and he faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted of rape.
