It looks like Chick-fil-A will be opening a location previously occupied by a Burger King on the corner of Westwood Boulevard and Le Conte Avenue in California. An LAist reader sent them images of paperwork which indicates that the restaurant will be opening in that spot. UCLA students and faculty should get a kick out of this.

The property, owned by Regents of the University of California, will be leased to a Chick-fil-A franchisee who will handle construction and alteration of the property. An opening date is unknown at the moment, and the location is not listed on the impending openings on Chick-fil-A's website.

Do you think president Dan Cathy's statements against same-sex marriage that triggered national criticism will scare customers away when this location finally opens?
