Last week, a 21-year-old college student was minding her own business while traveling from her job in Oak Park when a man struck her with a sock full of feces. The incident occurred on an Eastbound Blue Line Train, and the man never said a word.

“It was everywhere: on my face, my hair, my clothes," the woman told CBS. She says the assailant, who's still at large, boarded the train with her. She was texting, so she didn't pay him any mind. At the next stop, he attacked her with no warning.

“It was like the biggest degradation I’ve ever [experienced]. I wish he had just hit me,” she said. “The worst part is nobody had anything to wipe my face with." She chased the man along with another passenger, but he escaped. She managed to wipe her face with some newspapers before paramedics arrived, and paramedics provided her with paper towels and water.
