A college student attempted to cleanse the Earth of her roommate by pouring bleach into the woman's iced tea after an argument about dirty dishes. 19-year-old Kayla Ashlyn Bonkowski, a student at Central Michigan University, has been accused of pouring the chemicals into 20-year-old Emily Joseph's beverage last month at their apartment in Union Township.

The fight began over dirty dishes, and Bonkowski allegedly told police that she tried to poison Joseph because she was "mean." Joseph was treated and released from a local hospital, and the university provided the New York Daily News with the following statement:

None

Bonkowski is facing felony poisoning charges, and will appear in court today. If convicted, she could face up to 15 years in prison. She should have just left a note.
