A 32-year-old man's wife left him and took their daughter with her because he was verbally abusive. He responded by doing the logical thing—cutting off his tongue. He should've saved it, and then just sung a Blackstreet song to her or something. Bunty Verma, of Sendhwa, India, sent his wife a note saying that he had cut off his tongue to solve the problem. It hasn't been confirmed whether or not the woman believed him, but he was taken to a local hospital.
A medical officer informed local police of Verma's attempt at playing surgeon. All of this drama could've been avoided.
