As Kotaku (or Kotumblr, thanks to Hurricane Sandy) points out, this is the first TV ad for the upcoming Wii U. What do you think?
The Wii U will be the first console to usher in the next generation of gaming hardware, and it's just as unusual a machine as the Wii was. No doubt Nintendo's hoping that lightning will strike twice, but based on our experiences plenty of fans remain unconvinced.
The commercial focuses on a ton of different ways to play the Wii U, including five-player splitscreen multiplayer using the GamePad and four Wii Remotes. What we've played on Wii U, including Black Ops 2, has been great. Time will tell, but we can't wait to get our hands on it and really see what it has to offer in November.
