As Springfield’s resident capitalist dictator, it should come as no surprise that Mr. Burns would be endorsing Mitt Romney in the upcoming presidential election. And just to give Mittens a bit of a boost in the days leading up to the big vote, he’s starring in this new campaign video that shows why our country should yet again vote Republican. He even brought Romney’s roof-surfing dog, Seamus, on to give his master some more support.
The folks at The Simpsons have been suspiciously quiet during this election season, but this commercial more than makes up for it, especially with the “Meat Romney” and “Broccoli Obama” lines. Remember, a brand-new episode of The Simpsons will air this Sunday, so expect the show to try to squeeze in as many election jokes as humanly possible in 30 minutes.
