GANT opened its first D.C. location in the historic Georgetown neighborhood last week, which also happens to be one of our 50 most stylish neighborhoods. The opening of the new store marks the brand's expansion outside of New York, and joins its seven other retail locations.
The Georgetown GANT store is housed in a 2,000 square-foot space that was once home to a popular live jazz bar called Saloun. The exposed bricks from the bar have been kept in tact, and they feature signatures from jazz enthusiasts and patrons who frequented the bar for over 30 years.
GANT USA targeted Georgetown because of its reputation as D.C. premier shopping area, and it's become very popular among men in recent years. The store can be found at 3239 M St. NW, and carries a variety of collections from GANT, GANT Rugger and GANT by Michael Bastian.
