This man may not have found what he was looking for, but he definitely got something else—attention. This unfortunate gentleman, believed to be a homeless man in his 50s, took the Internet by storm when photos of him with his head caught in a trash can went viral. The man was reportedly looking for a cigarette butt that someone had thrown out, and ended up stuck in a large garbage bin.
Naturally, people did the human thing and stopped to take pictures as he screamed for help. It took firefighters 15 minutes to free the man, who was taken to the hospital and treated for facial injuries. No criminal charges will be filed.
