Recently, President Barack Obama was asked in an interview with MTV whether dating, driving, or social networking concerned him the most when it came to his 14-year-old daughter, Malia. And while Barack shrugs off any concern over dating since, as he puts it, "she's got Secret Service protection," it's actually Facebook that worries him the most.

I'd worry about Facebook right now. I know the folks at Facebook -- obviously they've revolutionized, you know, the social networks. But Malia, because she's well known, I'm very keen on her protecting her privacy.

While President Obama does make a valid point in expressing why social networking represents the biggest fear for his daughter, is this negative attention on Facebook warranted? Sure, the site has its fair share of weirdos but is it enough to make someone not get an account altogether?
