This will be eerily familiar to those familiar with Hannibal. While attempting to feed his hogs, 70-year-old Terry Vance Garner was almost completely eaten by the animals. Family members say they last saw him around 7:30 a.m. when he left to feed them; his dentures were found a few hours later, when his family went to check on him. As they looked, they found pieces of his body, though most of it had already been consumed.
Coos County district attorney Paul Frasier is trying to figure out exactly how Garner ended up in the position where his hogs could've eaten him. On one hand, he could've suffered a heart attack and died before they consumed him, or one of the animals could've just pushed him down. There's also the chance that someone killed him and fed him to the animals. Regardless, an investigation is ongoing.
