According to The Hollywood Reporter, NBC is developing a modern take on Wuthering Heights with producer Greg Berlanti. The show will be titled Napa, and will be written by The Whole Truth's Tom Donaghy, who is also producing the series with Berlanti. As of now, Napa has a pilot commitment from the network.

The original Wuthering Heights was a novel written by Emily Brontë and it revolved around the doomed romance between Catherine Earnshaw and the orphan Heathcliff on the moors of Yorkshire. We’re not sure if the modern setting will be as important to the story as the moors were in the original, but with a title like Napa, it's easy to assume where this series will be set.
