Most folks in the States may not be familiar with Kaya Scodelario, Wonderland's alternate September/October cover girl, but the British starlet will be on our radar soon enough.

The 20-year-old actress, who got her big break as wild child Effy Stonem in the original UK version of Skins, will be starring in the upcoming Andrea Arnold-directed version of Wuthering Heights (opening in the U.S. on Oct. 5) and the drama Now Is Good (no U.S. release date set yet) co-starring Dakota Fanning.

“Dakota is probably the most professional person I’ve ever worked with. She knows all her lines, she’s there on time every day and she’s fully prepared. I really respect that but I really need the social side as well. I think I’d go crazy if I was working constantly," Scodelario told the mag of working with Fanning. "But filming Now Is Good was a great experience. I got to wear some really cool outfits and run around Brighton, one of my favourite places in the world. All my family live on the South Coast so they got to come down and watch me film. My Nan is in the back of shot. We’re on the pier and she’s behind, hobbling along!”

An army of British beauties seem to be taking over young Hollywood these days (Juno Temple, Felicity Jones, Emma Watson, to name a few), and Scodelario is a welcome addition.
