The record-setting heat in Oklahoma is apparently so oppressive that it melted a street light. Oklahoma City NBC affiliate KFOR posted a viewer photo which appears to show a street light finally succumbing to the temperature. 64 new temperature records were set this month, including 13 on the last day of July. More KFOR viewers have come forward, saying that the melting street light is actually the aftermath of a dumpster fire and using a new image (click through) as evidence.
Still, it sounds like it's pretty damn hot out there.
