While giving a speech to a group of Republican donors at a fundraiser in Sun Valley, Idaho yesterday, Clint Eastwood revealed his endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. Sure, it's not on the level of Jenna Jameson's endorsement from yesterday, but then again, what is?

Anyway, during his speech, Eastwood recalled the first time he saw Romney in a campaign ad during the filming of Mystic River in Massachusetts. "I said, 'God, this guy, he's too handsome to be governor, but he does look like he could be president.'...as the years have gone by I began to think even more so about that." Then, continuing, Eastwood explained that he endorses Romney and plans to vote for him during the upcoming election.

"Now more than ever do we need Gov. Romney. I'm going to be voting for him," he said, adding that he hopes the candidate would restore "a decent tax system that we need badly ... so that there's a fairness and people are not pitted against one another as who's paying taxes and who isn't."
