"The Amazing Spider-Man" Earns $341.2 Million Worldwide on Opening Week

It's official: The Amazing Spider-Man is a hit. In the six days since it's been released domestically, the film franchise reboot starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone has taken in $140 million, in addition to another $201.6 million earned at international box offices. Total, that puts the film's gross at $341.2 million - in just one week. Get it, Spidey.

As for the rest of the box office - Ted is holding at number two, grossing $120.2 million in its first ten days since opening. Pixar's Brave is steady at number three, Oliver Stone's Savages opened to a reportedly better-than-expected $16.2 million, and Katy Perry's concert documentary, Katy Perry: Part of Me earned $10.3 million.
