If you thought it couldn't possibly get any worse for Chick-fil-A, you were wrong. With the chain caught in the middle of a public relations nightmare, its vice president of public relations, Donald A. Perry, died yesterday morning of a heart attack. The company has experienced nationwide backlash due to its stance against gay marriage, and Perry's death couldn't have come at a worse time.

The company issued a statement yesterday saying "We are saddened to report the news to you that our dear friend Don Perry, vice president of public relations, passed away suddenly this morning."
