No matter how insignificant they seem, there are some possessions that, if broken, can bring a swift end to a relationship. A bong is one. A man in Gainesville, FL,was arrested for pulling a gun on his girlfriend after she broke his bong. There goes that relationship, up in smoke.
20-year-old Brandon Chivek was arrested early yesterday morning and slapped with charges of domestic battery and strangulation, aggravated assault, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Chivek told police that he and his live-in girlfriend got into an argument Sunday night that culminated in his girl shattering his bong. Furious, he left her looking down the barrel of a gun.
Clearly this relationship was not built to last, as Chivek is married to marijuana. They’re going to experience a little separation anxiety in the interim, however.
