Some casting news to end your week with: Sarah Wayne Callies, currently best known as Lori Grimes on AMC's The Walking Dead, has just joined the cast of director Steve Quale's untitled found-footage tornado thriller, Deadline is reporting. Callies won't be leaving Walking Dead, though - instead, she will pull double-duty, and simultaneously film both projects.
One more apocalyptic film or series on her resume, and Callies will basically be Roland Emmerich's dream actress, because look at all the natural and/or supernatural disasters she can pretend to die in! That's range.
