Deadline is reporting that Rescue Me star and co-creator Denis Leary is going back to FX - this time as an executive producer on a new cop comedy for the network, Bronx Warrants. The show is created by Arrested Development co-executive producer Dean Lorey, and revolves around a "group of errant warrant detectives in the Bronx assigned to arrest individuals with outstanding warrants...with bonuses paid out for each “body” they bring in, the detectives are out to get rich rather than dole out justice." Sounds dysfunctional, just how we like our shows.

In addition to Lorey and Leary, former Rescue Me executive producer Jim Serpico will serve as executive producer. Seems worth a DVR slot.
