Here’s another reminder that your childhood is over. LeVar Burton, famous for his role as the host of PBS’s “Reading Rainbow,” among others, was pulled over in Van Nuys, Calif., yesterday for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
Oh, it gets so much better. According to TMZ, Burton stopped short as he drove to the side of the street, forcing the cop to rear end him. Coincidentally, Burton happened to be wearing a “Reading Rainbow” t-shirt. In the end, Burton was not ticketed by the police.
