Now that Facebook is a publicly held company, we should expect the social networking giant to explore new markets and acquisitions in search of more revenue. According to the folks at Poket-lint, Zuckerberg & Co. are already looking into a new field: Internet browsers.

The move would put Facebook on the same plateau as other tech giants like Apple, Google, and Microsoft—and now even Yahoo!—all of which have their own browser. It would also prevent Facebook from having to build a browser from the ground-up.
Founded in 1995, Opera Software has developed a range of products including a popular mobile browser, and has a strong user base of over 200 million people.
