When you attempt to justify selling gun range targets that resemble Trayvon Martin because you want to “make money off the controversy,” it’s difficult to respect you on a cellular level. But yes, an Orlando “businessman” is actually selling Trayvon Martin-inspired targets, complete with black hoodie, drawn-on bags of Skittles, and iced tea can. Fuck ethics, apparently.

The seller is allegedly a George Zimmerman supporter who believes that “he is innocent and that he shot a thug." Zimmerman’s attorney Mark O’Mara denounced the targets, saying they represent “the highest level of disgust and the lowest level of civility.” He feels that a stunt like this will make it even harder to win a case already being played out in the media, and further infuriate the community.

The seller, who refuses to acknowledge how the targets were constructed, said the response to them was “overwhelming,” and that they sold out in two days.

Either way, firearm owners are disgusted. One firearm owners association website member said “Even though I fully believe Zimmerman was justified in shooting, Trayvon was still a human being and does not deserve that kind of disrespect in death.”

The seller refuses to disclose their identity, meaning this person lacks a soul, not a brain.
