If you're looking for when ABC will air the next season of Cougar Town, you might want to read this. According to Deadline, the show will move to TBS starting in early 2013 after it was canceled by ABC. The two sides struck a deal after just a few days of negotiations for the rights to the show, and now it will debut on TBS with a brand-new fourth season early next year. There is also a good chance that the network will pick up the show's fifth season as well. This will give the Courtney Cox series enough episodes to be become syndicated.
The show's cast had become hostile towards ABC in recent weeks, feeling that they were treated like the "ugly stepsister" of the network. That's never a good way to try and keep your show from getting canceled. Despite some low ratings, Cougar Town still has a loyal following and some strong critical endorsements from the media, so this move to TBS might wind up being the second chance that the show needed.
