Video: Ted Nugent Compares President Obama To A Coyote That Needs To Be Shot

Let the outrage commence.

It’s an election year, so that means all of the crazies from throughout the entertainment industry are about to come out of the woodwork to try and feed you their own brand of political rhetoric. And over the past few years, no celebrity has been more entertaining and infuriating to listen to than Detroit rocker, Ted Nugent.

At this weekend’s NRA convention, the former Damn Yankees guitarist campaigned hard for GOP presidential hopeful, Mitt Romney. But instead of endorsing Romney in a thoughtful, intelligent manner, Nugent did so by comparing President Obama to a coyote in very bizarre fashion in this video, courtesy of Right Wing Watch.

“It isn’t the enemy that ruined America. It’s good people who bent over and let the enemy in," he said. "If the coyote’s in your living room pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him."

We’re certain that these bullets that Nugent is going to put into coyote Obama are purely metaphorical, but being that these statements took place at an NRA convention, they will surely raise some eyebrows across the country. Nugent, a hard-leaning right winger, is a known firearms enthusiast, so it is only natural that he would clash mightily with President Obama's strict views on gun control.

If you’re part of that generation that has no idea who Ted Nugent is, be sure to go down to your local car wash and see if any of his albums are in the bargain bin. Or you could learn all you need to know about him by reading one of his many books about all things conservative, including guns and god.
