A Connecticut man is under arrest today after his 5-year-old stepson brought 50 packets of heroin to school for show and tell in his kindergarten class.
According to the Huffington Post, the child went to school with his stepfather's jacket, which contained the drugs sorted into 10 plastic bags. When he pulled the bags out during class, his teacher immediately seized them and alerted the principal, who called police.
The child's stepfather, 35-year-old Santos Roman, was arrested upon arriving at the school, and the boy has been put in state custody until other relatives can be located.
