Every L.A. pothead's dream has come true, as The Dispensary Group has created "Autospense," a 24-hour medical marijuana dispensing system that operates just like an ATM. But if you think you're going to get over on this machine, you're sadly mistaken.
First off, you have a to have a medical marijuana prescription and be registered with a local participating dispensary. Customers will swipe their registration cards and enter a PIN number; the machines accept cash, debit and credit.
Good luck knocking one of these over, as they're guarded by cages after the dispensaries close. The only way you can open them is by swiping the card, meaning you'd have to steal one, which is a another crime.
