Keeping in step with Windows 8, the looming Microsoft Office 15 suite will also be touchscreen-optimized to make the desktop experience mirror the tablet one. The Verge got their hands on a technical preview of the newest version and it's the subtle touches that should make it the best yet. Word now has video embeds and smoother scrolling, and will finally allow users to share docs online. PowerPoint will feature better integration with Excel, and Outlook will come equipped with built-in weather forecasts, improved multiple e-mail account support, and in-line replies. No word yet on a release date.
